Warrior Lacrosse makes significant commitment to the growth of box lacrosse in the United States through groundbreaking partnership with USBOXLA

Today, the US Box Lacrosse Association (USBOXLA) proudly announced a groundbreaking partnership with Warrior Lacrosse – a division of New Balance and the lacrosse industry’s most innovative and cutting-edge equipment manufacturer.

“We are extremely thankful and fortunate to partner with Warrior, who shares our passion and vision for the growth of box lacrosse in the US,” said USBOXLA Co-Founder and University of Denver Associate Head Coach Matt Brown. “This is a significant step for the sport in the US, one that will provide advantages to all of our members, no matter what age or level they are playing at.”

The partnership includes sponsorship of various teams, tournaments and new grassroots developmental initiatives USBOXLA and Warrior will officially announce later this year. “USBOXLA shares our passion and commitment to growing box lacrosse in the US”, said John Gregory, Director of Marketing for Warrior Sports. “As an industry leader in lacrosse, we are extremely excited to partner with USBOXLA and provide their teams with the most innovative and best-in-class product available on the market.”

Official Equipment Supplier of Team USBOXLA

Warrior will now be the Official Equipment Supplier of Team USBOXLA – a national program representing the absolute best box lacrosse talent in the country. Starting this summer, these elite and pioneering players will now be suited up with box-appropriate equipment that matches their level of dedication, drive and desire.

Official Equipment Supplier of the CCBLL

In addition to Team USBOXLA, Warrior will also become the Official Equipment Supplier of the Colorado Collegiate Box Lacrosse League (CCBLL) – the country’s first box lacrosse league for college-aged athletes, sanctioned by USBOXLA. The inaugural CCBLL season begins this June and has already attracted player interest from all over the country. Visit ccbll.usboxla.com for more information.

USBOXLA Shop Powered by Warrior

Warrior will also provide their full lineup of box-specific equipment at discounted rates through a new online shop made available exclusively through USBOXLA.com. “Although the field and box game share many similarities, the equipment needs of both sports are often quite different,” said Brown. “Through Warrior, we can now better provide and educate Americans new to the sport what they should be wearing, and better yet, for less than what they’ll find elsewhere.” Visit warrior.usboxla.com to purchase your box lacrosse equipment.

Other initiatives included in this partnership will be announced throughout the upcoming year, many of which will impact the grassroots level of the sport. Stay tuned.
