The Team USBOXLA U18 #bctour is often referred to as “one of the most demanding tours in American lacrosse.”

The team, made up of the top U18 talent competing in the country, would play five grueling games against top British Columbia Intermediate Lacrosse League talent in just seven days.

This year’s tour, which starts on July 10 in Langley, will again pit Team USBOXLA against five teams from the province, however, the Americans will get just six days to cram in all that 2017 competition. No easy task.

“Our tour is often dictated by existing B.C. schedules,” said USBOXLA Co-Founder and Team USBOXLA Coach Shaydon Santos. “This wasn’t necessarily done by design, but I think this will be a tremendous test for us. I have full confidence that this group has the ability to compete against every team on our schedule.”

Also different this year, Team USBOXLA, who had previously always competed against Intermediate ‘A’ teams, will play both a Junior ‘B’ and Intermediate ‘B’ team, matching up with the presently first place Coquitlam Adanacs on July 14 at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex.

This 2017 U18 roster is also the largest group ever assembled for the #bctour, featuring 26 players from eleven different states. This year’s team includes players committed to top NCAA DI programs like the University of Denver, Towson University, Canisius College, Brown University and others.
