For the third straight spring, Team USBOXLA Peewees, Bantams and Midgets will be attending the Trevor Wingrove Memorial Tournament in Coquitlam, British Columbia (June 8-10). 

The teams will compete against top Canadian clubs and showcase elite American box lacrosse players from all over the country. Team USBOXLA coaching staff will feature both American and Canadian coaches, many of whom either formerly or presently play in the National Lacrosse League. 

Earlier this week, the Coquitlam Minor Lacrosse Association finalized this year’s Wingrove schedules. In each division, Team USBOXLA will compete against the host Coquitlam Adanacs during round robin play, as well as other top teams from both British Columbia and Alberta. 

“Playing at tournaments like the Trevor Wingrove Memorial allows us to test ourselves against some of Canada’s best box teams and measure how far we’ve come as an association,” said USBOXLA President and Co-Founder, Shaydon Santos, who will also be coaching Team USBOXLA in Coquitlam. “Every year since we’ve been at the Wingrove, Team USBOXLA has shown considerable improvement both as a group and through individual player performances.”
