Player pool signup for the 2019 National Collegiate Box Series (NCBS) has officially opened.
This past season, both the University of Denver endorsed Colorado Collegiate Box Lacrosse League (CCBLL) and Ohio State University & Cleveland State University endorsed Ohio Collegiate Box Lacrosse League (OCBLL) operated with a combined ten teams, providing in excess of 200 roster opportunities for American collegiate players.
For the 2019 season, the USBOXLA-sanctioned NCBS is planning expansion in the OCBLL, as well as currently reviewing perspective new league opportunities in the eastern part of the country.
Players selected to participate in the NCBS will compete in a full regular season and playoffs, and also receive a Rude Brand REVOSKN uniform, a Warrior Lacrosse box-specific helmet, a team-branded Headwrapz decal, a USBOXLA membership (if required), along with other items as part of their player fee.
In 2018, NCBS coaches included current and retired National Lacrosse League players, former NCAA standouts, and other highly regarded USBOXLA-certified instructors. Games are officiated by USBOXLA-certified referees and governed by the USBOXLA Collegiate Rule & Situational Book, ensuring the safest possible version of the sport is played.
