Parents are not required to attend. Over the years most parents have not attended this trip. We'll provide all the documentation for smooth border crossing and shuttle service to and from the Vancouver Airport. If parents do want to attend there are hotel options on the college campus close to the dorms. Parents are welcome to watch practices and also attend the evening exhibition games.
Each airline has it's own specific rules and ages when it comes to unaccompanied minors. Please check each airline as you book your flight for more details. Sometimes airlines charge a mandatory 'unaccompanied minor fee' depending on the flyers age. With the fee you also get additional services such as a chaperone, who carries your documents, gets you onto the plane in preboarding and releases your child to a only an authorized person at the detination airport. Other airlines don't mandate an unaccompanied minor fee. We do suggest for any players travelling on their own regardless of age to fly direct to YVR.
Long before a PLL Championship, a NLL Draft, a stellar career at DU, a National Collegiate Box Series MVP and National Championship a young Jack Hannah showed up for our BC Tour with no box experience. As long as your player has the fundamentals down and is committed to the game they are welcome to attend. We are not here to teach catching and throwing, we are instead here to teach Advance Box Lacrosse skills and concepts to players with a very good grasp of basic skills.
On the checkout process you can purchase REG SAVER which is insurance incase you must cancel your registration. We do not provide refunds for any reason. We will however provide 100% credit towards a future camp.
If your son is an incredible 2013 he could play up but we can not have players who are born in 2008 or older play down for this event. We are playing exhibition games vs established Canadian clubs who are date of birth based.
